I think that might seem that way with how she's looking up. Since she's looking up, you can't see the line one might draw for the slope of her nose when looking straight forward. This makes it look like there's more distance between her eyes and her mouth than there actually is and that the point of her nose is lower than it should be. It's all really a matter of perspective, really.
Touché. Perhaps its the implied dimensions of her face that make her angle seem awkward. She ugly-pretty, like Uma Thurman. Or she's distorted by style. Whatever. The final product looks slightly awry; that's all I'm saying.
Seriously Aki you just blew my mind! This is such a poetic drawing and wonderful how the wings are different from the rest. While the other Sexy-spices was angels this one seems like a crow-demon. She would deserves an epic background with crows. Her pose is also very powerful and dynamic colours helps with the effect of making her a pure beauty! The belt and chains helps with the dark theme and makes her my favourtie of your angel-figures this far! And yet again I am impressed by your skills of human anatomic.
Oh wow. I always wonder how people are able to create such marvellous masterpieces with watercolours ... 'cause I seriously fail at that media xD This is amazing tho! I especially like her wings, the shirt and the metal details. Her facial expression is awesome, too; it all makes her look so badass ^__^
