Wow that is just totally great again. It's simply amazing, how you draw these paintings. The colors look so wonderful, so vivid and interesting. All those little spots, blotchs and blobs that unite to such an awesome picture. The effects you have done here are also just totally cool. The anatomy and the way you have displayed the character...just wow.... I love it^^
When I first looked at the front legs I thought the creature had a scaly skin... Now I think it's the paper texture that's showing, although I can't rule the scales completely out either. In any case, I like what you did with the paper and the splashes of color. Also, your grasp of anatomy is just excellent, the monster looks so light and mobile. I love the contrast between dark and light that you used in the right wing and the water reflections - that said, I also love how you balanced those crisp parts with more blurred sections in the painting. There's just so much to look at here that I keep finding new things, everything's so detailed. My only complaint would be the dark splashes of color right at the top of the painting. They do add balance and a new texture, but somehow they look less planned than the rest of this magnificent picture, kind of like spilling something by accident.
