Saint Nicholas' Church , Frombork, Poland
Drawing made to fill up some empty space on one of my school projects.
Church was founded in 1405. It was burned and plundered multiply times during the last few centuries by Poles, Germans and Swedes. After WWII it was used as a boiler station. Now apparently it's a "go-to" place for all local cats and birds when they want to die. First time in my life I had to scrub off a whole pigeon off my shoe.

The sky-it is so fitting, somehow-and it showcases the church beautifully. It is made so perfectly, and the blue and green compliment each other perfectly.
The church has such smooth walls-there is some appealing about it. And then the girl and the fence and the plants-they seem to be radiating some mysterious light-it draws your eyes to it and your mind tries to distinguish between all the light and dark places in the trees and plants.
Then your eyes are drawn to the girl-she is standing tall. She is not afraid, or just happening to glance at the church as she is walking-she is actually staring at it with curiosity. Her yellow apparel, against the plants green, is pleasing to the eyes.
The horizontal and vertical lines going across the picture give it a sort of video-game appearance, and I can easily imagine this being a scene in a nice mystery game.
Overall, you're technique here-how you drew/painted everything is simply commendable. The fact that you've actually been there actually added to that, I believe. Your skill is amazing.
The only thing that I have to say against it is that the sort of gist of it-with a building and then a girl at the bottom right, is sort of done a lot (the umbrella has been done before, too). But you did according to your own style, and I like that.
You're piece is wonderful, and it just give me chills every time I see it, and I can just picture my self in the girls position, standing on the sidewalk, staring up at an ominous looking building, wondering what was inside-all while the rain patters on the sidewalk around me. Am I contemplating whether or not to go inside? I know the building has a story to tell-but do I dare look for it?
I think you did really well with this picture which was so good I thought it was photography. This picture is really good and I loved how you made it look so life-like.
The tiny person holding the umbrella in the corner just ties it all in. It mixes with the picture to create an feeling of separation. I'm not sure if that was your intention but overall you did an excellent job with this picture.
I hope I did ok with this critique. Excellent work again and keep up the good work
