Some of you may wonder why I am constantly drawing castles and ladies. The reason is very simple, I was commissioned to illustrate a calendar. 12 identical pictures bleh. I'll try to upload something different soon, there are definitely too many castles and masked ladies in my gallery.

Hah! Nie wierzę! Piękne! Nie,nie, to nie w to nie wierzę...
Hmm.. cóż... Po prostu śmieję się teraz sama z siebie... Jakiś czas temu, najprawdopodobniej w czerwcu, miałam okazje gościć u rodziny w Warszawie i pierwsze co, po przybyciu rzuciło mi się w oczy, to ten cudowny kalendarz! Wróciłam do domu, z nadzieją że znajdę go gdzieś w internecie, nie ominęłam też DA ;) ale bez rezultatów... Gdy po kilku tygodniach odwiedziłam ich ponownie, nie zważając na to, że jest środek roku, zwyczajnie zdjęłam go ze ściany i przemyciłam do siebie ;) Tak bardzo mi się spodobał.
No proszę, a tutaj, kilka miesięcy później znajduję te oto wspaniałe prace, przeglądając galerię jednej z moich ulubionych artystek na DA ;)
Tak jakoś poczułam się, żeby to napisać...

Since you requested critiques on this one too...

Things you might want to consider: The ice is too flat. Great reflections, but usually it's not so crystal clear or perfectly smooth. Snow is usually dusted on, there's snags here and there where it's buckled, branches that got frozen in, etc.

There seems to be a lack in snow in the very top left corner. I like the differences in density around the page, but there seems to be a total lack in that corner. Maybe add a few flakes.

Again, I'm not too big into the white lines in the sky, but I'm thinking that's just personal preference...

The big bushes in the far background, right next to the castle. I know the backgrounds are more vague, but I think just a couple of little squiggle lines or whatever to break up that big grey space might be good. It's not adding much detail, but just enough to break up the big patch.

Things I like: Overall emotion. Very cool, quiet, elegant. :) Also, I love the colors, feathers in her hat/hood, and the way the sides of the ice chunks look. Great job! My favorite of your calender pages thus far, but I guess that's because I'm a winter person :D
