Simply beautiful.... i love the rich colors and great use of lighting and contrast. The rough textures really add to the piece, it looks as if Katara herself were made out of turbulent waters, or emerging from them.
Well done on the face, also, i like how you made her out to look exotic (which is how she should look); it has personality as well as beauty!
All in all it is a fantastic piece and definitely one of the best Katara fanarts i have seen out there. The whole composition is very fluid and transitions perfectly from choppy textures and watery effect to her delicate face. Great job! =)

Although it is a beautiful image, it doesn't really look like Katara. Unless its the one from the movie=)
But its really pretty, the colours give an almost underwater feel.=)
