First of all congratulations for this piece of art.
It is dificult to see this drawing and not say something about it, both characters looks alive in the sense that both transmit feelings to the viewers even if they are talking about death; that look on the satire while watching the unicorn is fantastic.
The colours add a magic tone to the whole scene perfectly triggering an inmediate response within the viewer.
Both characters have a very complicated anatomy but both compenetrate with one another quite well. The spider web as a symbol pf the passing of time is fantastic.
welp, this is my first try at critique,so please forgive the noobyness
i really enjoy this piece, the lighting is excellent, especially on the webs.the detail on the old guy and the unicorn is also stunning.the title really fits well with the painting.the use of colour is also something that catches my eye.i really can't see anything to complain about except maybe the guy's right hand (Which looks a bit odd) and the unicorn's snout doesn't seem to blend well with the ground (or maybe it's just me IDK) but overall,it's an amazing painting
I would like you to listen to a song called The Moon Will Rise by Ghost Mice. It conveys much more eloquently than I could that, well, our magic can never die.
