This is insane! At the color block step, I thought it was 3D like google sketchup, but it's so much more refined, exactly like a real handmade perspective should be. But gosh perspective is so hard >_<
I'm getting the feeling you're going over everything in excruciating and obvious detail about the process of just making stuff correctly. Simply because most people on this site, including I, don't get it. One reason why you're one of my favorite people on this site.
This is very nice and seems to be drawn so easy, I mean just few steps and it's finished I think that making a wet surface by a simple vertical flipping is a joke, because there is no horizontal axis on this picture at all. So tell me how to do it, please.
I'm interested in the perspective and escape points of the leftmost building. It looks about right but based on the tutorial it seems to me that you drew the horizontal-ish lines of that building based on intuition. If however i'm wrong and there's "math" behind it then could you elaborate more on what are the perspective lines based on?
This was really helpful, thank you so much for making this!
May I ask which program you used to make this tutorial? I can't find any good flash animating programs on the internet that don't cost hundreds of euros ... I wish I had flash, but it's so expensive >.<
