This is quite possibly the most profound comic ending I've ever seen. The detail in your work here is stunning, and incredibly realistic. The volcano looks alive, with the detail of the explosion of lava. Also, the surreal duality of suns framing the eruption is a work of compositional genius.

The actual technique you used here is stunning. The method you used to color it is just beautiful. You should consider making a line/color/shading tutorial!

This picture is just so bittersweet. You can see the anguish and pain on the faces of the dead/unconscious wolves, as well as the stupid horror of Albert.

My only criticism is that you might want to give it a mature content tag. The realism of the gore and blood, though admirably detailed, might upset some of your more squeamish admirers.

Overall, probably one of my favorites of your works.

Firstly, I would like to point out that I am a bit disappointed that everyone just DIES at the end, I demand you follow up with a rebirth of all the characters (please see Wolf's Rain series for full details)... the piece itself is very impactful and strong!

I do wonder if the bright red is blood or lava though, because if it is blood I am uncertain why you chose to use two shades of it. Perhaps it makes sense for the blood in the background to be a darker hue but you clearly lack grasp on distance vs. hue since the dark wolf in front has some of the strongest shading...

Also are you aware you have TWO suns??? Are they on Vulcan??

On a brighter note the realism is uncanny, especially on the surviving character, I can make out every strand of fur on his coat! Great job and I hope you have a happy weekend
