Hey, there! ^^
THis is my first actual critique so It might be a little bit confusing, but I hope you'll get me.

First of all, the drawing looksnice( i saw the sketch too) and the idea is really good I must say. Even though the hind legs of the main horse seem too big for the size of the horse, along with the lack of deformation on the right front leg of the horse..something like "you raising your arm and your shoulder not following it". Also the Nazgul's legs are too short.

When I first looked at the painting I couldn't really know what bugged my vision, so I asked a few things to my boyfriend who paints with watercolor and he explained it to me. I couldn't really tell the difference between the background and the horses in the because there is no profundity on it, so it was hard to see the action happening in there. Also, the painting look a little bit too smudgy. I know that watercolors can be super suggested and have wonderfull results, but something was missing on this piece.

But, like I said, the idea itself is really interesting and full of movement. ^^ I'm not an expert or anything, I actually have a super long path to go till I get good like you, but I was just pointing a few things, i hopw you'll think it's fair. ^^

I love this picture. It flows nicely and the images are well constructed. I think the palette of primarily blues and blacks is utilized well. The whiter images of Gandalf's horses against the darker Nazgul steeds works making a beautiful juxtaposition of the good overwhelming the evil. I only wish both Nazgul horses appeared to be more panicked than they currently are and the water horses were a little more obvious. The Nazgul himself looks too in control of his horse. However, I think the horses themselves are beautifully drawn and convey dynamic energy. Overall gorgeous and I would buy this print easily.

I still don't get how the horses all drowned but the riders all survived.
