Critiques
I don't know if it's because of its emotionless bug face, but this creature seems very mysterious to me. Is it good or evil, or perhaps somewhere in between? Is it big or small? Weak or powerful?
What is clear is that it's design is very unusual. An anthro insect is a rare thing, and I do believe this is the first moth I've ever seen (barring the ones from Metroid Prime 2, of course). The insect aspects are well represented. The creature has a hard exoskeleton, imposing wings, and even the month's curly tongue is present. Personally, I would have liked to see the month's feathery antennae as well, but that's probably due to personal preferences.
The characters menacing pose, which splits the scene in a light and a dark half is a nice touch as well. I think the monochrome nature of this piece really suits this character as well. Nice job.
